Birth mother (Melanie Brunner) searching for son born on December 1, 1990 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis 7:55am weighing 6lbs. It was a closed adoption. Adoptive parents used psychologist, Dr. Jerome Smith, as the go-between for communication with me. Franklin Miroff was their attorney. The names they gave me were Tom and Anna...though I believe they were false names to protect themselves. They knew me as Melanie or Niki (my middle name is Nicole). I received a picture of you when you were six months old. You had very blond hair, almost white, and blue eyes. You probably have sandy blond hair now or light to medium brown hair. If you would like to meet me, that would be nice. I also would like to meet your adoptive parents. Your adoptive mom, in particular, was so kind and sweet to me during a very difficult time. She was such a blessing to me. I left a letter with your adoptive mom written to you when she felt you were ready for it. The lyrics to Mariah Carey's song Love Takes Time were included with the letter. it was a love song but much of the song explained exactly how much my heart hurt to give you up. I have prayed for you all these years. I hope you have been loved and cared for as I wished. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
