We are looking for descendents of the Mundell family who settled in Woodford Co., Illinois. Our ancestor was Samuel Mundell,(he was first married to Ruth Babb, after her death he married her sister Marie Babb Foster) one of the Mundell brothers who helped settle the area. They lived in the Cazenovia Township. Samuel's son James Babb Mundell came to Kansas, then returned when his wife, Millie(Amelia Rogers, daughter of Samuel and Sarah(Miller) Rogers of Marshall Co., Illinois) died in Anthony, Kansas. James had a brother Joseph and sister Esther A. Tanton. Samuel had brothers, Abner and Simeon. If anyone knows and information on any member of this family please contact us. James and Millie's(Amelia Rogers Mundell) sons were Rollie(Rollin), Dr. Ralph Mundell(a dentist in the Chicago area in the early 1900s) and Jesse Alma Mundell, who was born in Cazenovia, but later lived and died in Kansas.
