I am a male born on 6th Feb 1959 in Singapore. My adoption was pre-arranged prior to my birth and I was delivered by a qualified mid-wife and was immediately taken away from my biological mother within 2 days of birth. My biological mother was about 17 years old when she gave birth to me and she was said to be known as "Ah Lin" (to be pronounced in Cantonese). Her mother came to Singapore from Guangdong in the early 1900s. My biological father is said to be about 17 years old when I was born. He is said to be of brown skin, non-Chinese (probably admixed Malay & Indo-Chinese (Thai, Laotian, Vietnamese, Burmese etc).
