Am looking for any info on August Wahlberg. Am not sure when or where he was born (mid-late 1800s). He was married to Anna Greta Imponen. She was christened 13 Jan 1862 in Kemijarvi, Lappi, Finland. August died in his kitchen (in Goodhue, MN) by a bullet wound to the leg. His bar had been closed down by the local law for gambling offences, so he ran a "back room" casino in his kitchen. During one of the games, two masked men broke in and demanded the money. August tried to fend them off and they shot him in the leg. August's wife called the police to come help, but took their time getting to his home (which was only about 5 blocks away) and he died.
