I am searching for information about the parents of James Anderson Shelton, born 27 Oct 1822. I am not certain that he was born in Stokes County, NC, but he came from that area. I think he went by the name of Anderson Shelton later on. Some of the his children by a first wife (Nancy Neldon) were: Elza, Charles, Oscar, and then later he remarried and had two more sons, John and Calvin. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
