I gave birth to twin girls on July 2, 1971 at the Donalsonville Hospital in Donalsonville, GA. A Dr. Breckinridge was the attending physician. Immediately following the birth, I was informed the babies were still born. I, nor any member of my family, was allowed to view the bodies. There is no birth record nor any death record on file of this birth. There was a burial. The funeral home, Evans Skipper, reluctantly showed my husband and my parents a blanket which supposedly contained my babies' bodies. The contents of the blanket was completely enclosed. I have always wondered exactly what happened to my babies. My name at the time was Bobbie McLendon Kirkland, the father was Leon Kirkland. Please help me! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
