I am searching for my birth mother. I was born March 12, 1955 in Sioux City, Iowa at St. Joseph Hospital. My original birth certificate has no father's name. My mother came from several states away and worked in the Country Club part of Sioux City, IA, staying with relatives while she waited to give birth. The doctor who delivered me was named Dr. Heffernan(sp) and I believe my mother's religious affiliation was Baptist. I have a birth mark on the back of my neck, which has also been passed down to my son.
