Hello, My name is Darwin Leitch and I reside in Georgetown, Guyana, South America. I interest in finding the origin of the name "Leitch" and relatives I may have out there. My resources regarding info about my great grand’s and beyond are very limited since my paternal relatives also have scarce info to provide me, regarding my quest. What i do know is, three brothers AMOS,THOMAS and the other name which I can't recall at this moment, came across the Corentyne Border, between Guyana and Suriname, in South America, sometime between the period 1880-1920 and settled in the county of Berbice in Guyana where there begun a new life. I do not know if there is living relatives currently in Suriname who could provide the info which I'm looking for, but I will be very appreciative if someone could see this query and reply to it. I heard that the name Leitch originated somewhere in Europe and Holland, Scotland, UK or there about. Please, If there is someone out there with info and could be related, please contact me, as I'm eager to know my family and root.
