My name is Shermanda Spikes (maiden name is Bowser). I am looking for my son born May 31, 1990 @ 2131 at the hospital on Warner Robins AFB, GA. His name is Christopher Michael Jones. His adopted mother's name is Gloria Jones. She was a nurse (I believe the head nurse) at the hospital and I believe she was a major at the time. My ob/gyn at the time was Capt. Marsha Atkins and she and Major Jones were good friends at the time. I believe that Capt. Atkins may have also been Christopher's godmother. Maj. Jones had adopted a baby girl about a year (give or take a few months) before she adopted Christopher. I think (if I am recalling correctly) that Major Jones was originally from somewhere in Alabama and moved back there after she retired. When Christopher was adopted I wrote a letter to be given to him when he was old enough to understand. In the letter I included a senior photo of myself, my mother's address (she has since moved), and my social security number to make it easier for him to find me in the event of my name changing if I were to get married. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
