Girl born April 6th 1989, with brother born September 10, 1985. Both Adopted from same birthparents and into same family. I, (girl) have curly auburn hair and blue eyes. 5'4'', 120 lbs. My brother has naturally blonde hair and is 5'11''. He is fairly heavy for his height. I am in search of biological parents and siblings. (full and half)(as of 10/20/1989- quotes from Trish Riedl,Social worker at the Children's Bureau) Biological Mother: 5'4'', a little over weight, brown hair and blue eyes. "Mother is pretty and attractive." "Mother is very nice person." She completed high school. She described herself as quiet, pleasant, and accepting. Her nationality background was German, French, and Dutch. She and the biological father have two children who are healthy and doing well in school. Both parents were married when me and my brother were conceived. (My brother is 4 years older than me and adopted from the same biological parents into the same family.) We were both born at the St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, Indianapolis, Indiana. My biological mother's father was 5'10'', 175 lbs, with auburn hair and blue eyes. He had a high school education. My mother's mother was 5'2, 180 lbs, medium brown hair, and blue eyes. She was also a high school graduate. Both my mother's parents were described as understanding and good hearted.She had two older sisters as well, who were both short and of average weight. One had special training after high school and the other had a Master's degree. Both were married and had children. Both grandmothers were short and heavy and the grandfathers were tall and thin, one being 5'10 and one 6'. Biological Father: 6' tall, 183 lbs. Light brown hair and blue eyes. German background. Completed 3 years of college and held a responsible position. Enjoyed computers, creative writing, and water sports. Described as verbal, out going, assertive, strong willed, and having a good sense of humor. "He is very loving to the two other full siblings in the home." He has FOUR other children from a previous marriage. Ages as follows (as of 1985)- 11 year old girl, 5 yr old boy, two twin 4 year old boys. All are in good health. His twin sister was 5'5'', black hair and brown eyes. She had a Masters degree and was employed. She had two children in good health. She was described as being very stable, introverted, and a good manager. Another sister was 5'4'', 128 lbs, blond hair and blue eyes. She completed 3 years of college. She had two children who were good health. She was outgoing and enjoyed volunteer work. My father's father 5'5'' tall, heavy set, black hair and brown eyes. He had two years of college and had been employed at the same job for 40 His mother had a college degree and she had her own business. She was 5'4'' and 130 lbs, red hair and blue eyes. She was very artistic. The birth father's father was adopted so there is no information on his parents. The maternal grandparents were both living and the grandfather was a cabinet maker and he had red hair and blue eyes. Full Siblings: There are two siblings in the home at present. As of 1985, one sibling is a girl 2 1/2 yrs. and the other is a boy 1 1/2 years. The boy is bright and runs around a lot - active. He may have a tendency to hyperactivity. He has some behavior problems. He started reading at 2 years and could read a little bit at 4. He learned things from Sesame Street. At 4 years he could count by 3's to 300. Both siblings are average height for their age and of slender build. The girl has dark hair and coloring, and the boy has blond wavy hair and pale skin. The biological parents were married. They had two other children who were very young and they felt they could not emotionally or financially care for more children. The decision to release both babies was difficult, but it was certainly in the best interest of the babies. The parents were confident that both babies would be placed with a family who would love them and take good care of them. They both signed the adoptive consents. “Birth mother is not stable enough emotionally to raise more children.” “The birth parents planned for [Aaron and Beth’s] futures by going to the Children’s Bureau and making an adoption plan.” “The birth parents are still being counseled by Nadeen at the Children’s Bureau.” The birth parents requested that Beth be placed in the same home with her brother, Aaron.
