Query Text: |
In about 1855 the three sons of Thomas Lawrence Daly and Bridget Ellen Sarsfield of County Westmeath sailed for America from the port of Queenstown. They were John, Peter, and Patrick. They made their way to Alton, Ill to contact a relative. I have almost all of the information on Patrick Daly (my great grandfather) born 17 March 1839, but I can't find any information on his brother John. I also know that the brother Peter died about 1871. It was also said that a sister went to Canada and others to South America. The information that I have about Ireland includes only the names and possible birthplace of Moate or Balnabarna County Westmeath. I would appreciate anyone who might of heard of the last names Sarsfield or Daly sometimes spelled Daley from Westmeath County Ireland or Daly from near Jerseyville Illinois. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
