Query Text: |
My great great grandmother Margaret Kavanagh (b.c.1862/1861, died 1st of July 1924) married Patrick McCarr (died 28th Feb 1920). They were living at 26 Paradise Row, Kingstown, Dublin, Ireland during the 1911 census. Their children were: Patrick (b.1887), Rose (b.c.1891/1890), Margaret (b.c.1893/1892), Thomas (b.c.1899/1898), Mary (b.c.1902/1901) and Anne (b.c. 1904/1903). Patrick (b.1887) married Ellen Murphy, a music teacher, who was born in England and lived in Dalkey, Co. Dublin (she is present at 17 Castle St, Dalkey for the 1911 census). He lived in Kingstown (Dun Laoghaire) until he died at 85 Upper Georges Street, with his daughter, Gretta and her husband Donal Hughes. Ellen Murphy was from England (as on 1911 census) and her parents were John and Nelly Murphy. Mary and Anne may have moved to Southampton, Hampshire, England, because my mother remembers writing to her great aunts there when she was young. I am looking for any information on my ancestors, so please contact me if you can help. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
