I am looking for my birth mother who gave me up for adoption in 1971. I was born on September 26th, 1971 at St.Mary's hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Her family was from the Green Bay area. On the day of my birth, I was born at 10:30am weighed 7#9oz.,20"4. at the time of my birth my mother was in her early 20's. she was roman catholic and of german descent. she was single and had never been married. she was described as 5'4"tall,weighing 175, large boned, brown hair,hazel eyes and fair complexion. She was the youngest of four children. Her father was self employed as a plumbing and heating contractor. her mother was a homemaker, and did interior painting and wallpapering. My birthmother new my birth father for a very short time and did not have a meaningful relationship at that time. He was divorced and had 2 preschool children (1boy and 1 girl). He was also in his mid 20's. He was 1/2 indian and 1/2 caucation, the type of indian is thought to be Menominee. He was 6'3"tall, slender in build, black hair brown eyes and medium complection. My birthmother and her mother saw me after my birth, my birth mother held me and fed me every day while in the hospital. three years following my birth she delivered another female child. which she kept and lived in low-income housing and working at times as a waitress. In 1976 she and a fellow who were in common law living arrangement moved out of state. I was adopted thru Catholic Social Service in which a Janice Thomas took care of the adoption. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
