JAMES & ELIZABETH MORRIS ARMSTRONG - Natchz, MS. Am looking for their burial places and other descendants with whom to exchange info. James Sr. was U.S. military officer, met wife Eliza (as she is listed on Dunbar Rowland's 1816 list of Adams Co. residents) in Richmond, VA. He ordered to Natchez in early 1800's & died 3 August, 1802. Had 12 children: 1.Catherine-marr. James Gormly, 2.Sarah- died age 3yrs., 3. Lydia-marr.Peter Turnam of VA, 4.Abigail-marr.Wm.Parker of Natchez, 5.Mary-marr.Thomas Alexander of KY, 6.James (became Commodore in Navy) marr.first Hannah Crowninshield, second Betsy Crowninshield, 7.Sarah-marr.Robert Alexander of KY, 8.Elizabeth- don't know, 9. Jane Madison-marr.first - William King of Natchez (eldest son of Major Richard King), second-John Neelly, 10.William M.-marr.Adeline Tyler, niece of President Tyler, 11.John-died young, 12.Fanny-died young.
