I'm looking for decendent of Neil Mckay Smith B. 1805 in Cumberland County NC. His son Charles Mckay Smith was my Great Grandfather. He died in Texas (Henderson County) in 1890. Neil Mckay Smith died in Wilcox County Al. in 1849. History says he was killed in Blacks Bend, now Coy. What was Blacks Bend, and how was Neil Smith killed?
