Dear Sir, Madam: Please assist me in regard of the following. I am searching an article (or obituary) in a WW 2 newspaper about Dorsey R. Simmons. Dorsey Simmons was from Cooper County, Missouri, enlisted in Jefferson Barracks, Missouri, in 1943, and was born in 1912. He was Missing In Action in Frace June/July 1944 and was declared as KIA August 1945. He was with an Infantry Unit. I suspect there was an article about the above in a local newspaper (which was common to do so when a serviceman died in combat). The article could be published around June 1944 (when he was taken POW) . I am doing research about US soldiers killed in Europe in WW 2. I am in particular looking for a picture from Dorsey. So far I was not able to find next of kin who can help. Could you help? Thank you in advance, best regards Antoine Nouens Den Bosch, the Netherlands | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
