I am descended from Barzillai Benjamin Buck b. about 1776 & rec'd a grant of 200 ac. from the Crown after applying about 1797. I know nothing of his parents or spouse. His children were Benjamin Buck b.1813, Robert Buck b. 1820-22, Cynthia (Buck) Silverthorn, Marry (Buck) Perney, and Joseph Buck b. 1815/16. They resided at Waterford, Norfolk Cty, Ontario. Robert m. Lavinia Chrystler & remained in Ontario. Benjamin m. Phebe Ann Steward & Joseph m. Sally J. Sweeney. These two brothers emigrated to MIchigan ab. 1872. Can anyone shed any light on this family (especially origins) or tell me how to go about getting a copy of Land Grant from the Crown application? Thank you very much | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
