Byrd ; Bird ??? Looking for info on Charles Erin Byrd Born,8/12/1866 Died 9/30/1927 was married to Daisy Ardella Gross. I cannot find the Byrd's Bird's that this crew came from or is linked to. This is Grandma's Grandfather...Her maiden name was BYRD But said her Granddaddy often spelled it BIRD. Grandma said she knew nothing of her Dad's family.... details were vague at the very least. She grew up in Western Maryland less than 5 minutes from the West Virginia border, if that helps. The town was Sharpsburg Maryland, close to Harpersferry WVA.
