I am helping to find the birth parents of both my daughter in-law and the birth parents of my husband. Susan L. Floyd, born June 1970, in Alexandria, Va. Birth father a German national. Susan's birth mother was from the Philippines, but living in Alexandria, VA. Birth mother had two older daughters and serious financial constraints. Richard Trotta, born 9 Nov. 1948, at St. Joseph Children’s and Maternity Hospital at 2010 Adams Avenue, Scranton 9, Pennsylvania. This place was a catholic Orphanage located in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA. Birth name Richard Joseph Trotta. Richard’s mother was a young lady and unmarried. Also, she was a singer and traveled with her sister, also a singer. Of Italian descent her surname was Trotta. Richard’s birthfather was of European, perhaps Russian ancestry, surname unknown. We have a letter stating that Mr. and Mrs. John Glenn of Pittston, Penn. recommended Mr. and Mrs. Miranda for receiving custody of Richard from St. Joseph’s whom they might legally adopt.
