I descend from Clifford Woodruff, who was in Cumberland Co., VA, but he moved to Oglethorpe Co., GA, by the end of the 1700's. His daughter, Nancy, married Seymour/Samer LEE. She is my ancestor, too. Her son John Garnett Lee, who moved to Hinds Co., MS, was my ancestor. His son, Anson Pollen Lee moved to Drew Co., AR, before the Civil War and served with the AR 9th Regt. Clifford was written up in the Pulick Claims Book of Cumberland Co., VA, asking for compensation for items he donated to the revolutionary cause. Anyone with information about this Clifford, his documented birth and death dates, or wife, whom I have been told was named Leathy, would be appreciated. Thank you, Beth Thurman Drew Co.
