Researching Rev. Peter Watkins originally of Tuscumbia AL 1870 Census married to Charlotte Armstead with a son Coleman Watkins Armstead. Uncle Peter is related to Sophie (Napier) Watkins who was the cook for Helen Keller when Helen was a child. Sophie was married to Rev. Fred W. Watkins of Tuscumbia AL> 1880 Census find Peter with new family in Shelby County TN as Rev. Wife is Anna and children are William and Delia. Grateful if anyone has any info, pictures, obits, newspaper editorial notes on Unlce Peter. 1900 Census (Faulner County AK - Danley Twp) he is with Anna and children are Thomas, Lucy, Peter, Callie, Rush, and Fred.
