Wales married Mary Thomas (b abt 1799, Easton, Talbot Co, MD d unk) on 6 Jan 1825. They had George Thomas Wales (b Feb 1827 Easton, Talbot Co, MD, d 20 Jun 1904 St. Michaels, Talbot Co. MD). George Thomas Wales married Margaret Ann Fanning (b 1825 St. Michaels, Talbot Co. MD, d 1909 St. Michaels, Talbot Co. MD). George and Margaret Wales had children Mary Louise, John William, Alice Ann, George B. McClellan, and Amanda McCord.
