I am trying to trace my heritage on my paternal grandmother's side, Irene Catherine (Spence) Broyles. Her father was Edgar O. Spence born in TN Sep 8, 1874 and died in Ardmore OK Sep 4, 1926, verified by death records. His wifes name was Alma, possible last name Yell. Searching the internet I found an Edgar W Spence with the same date of birth which I belive to be the same person.
