My grandson is looking for his father's biological family who are of Hispanic origin. His father, my adopted son Matthew John Wood, was born Nov.17, 1968 around 12 noon at Denver General Hosp and was brought home by me and my husband on June 4, 1969 and his adoption was finalized by Judge Gilmore (?) in Denver court in January 1970. My adopted son, Matthew passed away in 1992, the year my grandson was born. My grandson is searching for his Dad's biological family and heritage? His birth mother was 16-17(?)with reddish hair and birth father 18-19 and in the Armed Forces (both Hispanic). She thought they were going to marry and may not have relinquished him right away. He was in a foster home for a while. They also had a 1-2 year old daughter when Matthew was born. The adoption was handled through the Denver Social Services Dept. with Genvieve Moynihan as the case worker. When Matthew came to me he had a cold and a medical prescription that said Baby Padilla on the label. We received a picture of him at 4 months old dressed in a red Buster Brown knit outfit and red tennis shoes. He had chubby cheeks, black eyes and hair! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
