Looking for the descendants and any more information on Wilhelm Rutten. May have settled in mid central Minnesota. This is what I have to date. WILHELM RUETTEN, born 11 Jul 1840 married Katherina Kappens While en route to the United Sates there was born a set of twins which were either born dead or died in early infancy. At any rate they were buried at sea. They had two other children;Helena (Lena) & William. Wilhelm’s wife; Katherina died in a fire. Later Wilhelm married Barbara Koch who was born in Holland in 1852, and had eight children; Henry, Katherina, Joseph, Charles, Martin, Peter, John and Theodore. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
