I am trying to locate the hometown that john cox was born in. John was the son of Benjamin, and Benjamin was a son of William Cox. I think they came from England originally, and migrated to Southwest Virginia. If anyone has any info on these I would love to hear from you. I do know that John died in Pike Co. KY. about 1900 I think. His son was Henry who was born in 1865 so I am guessing that John was born about 1845 to 1850. John was married to Amanda Julia Adkins | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
