Ive been trying to locate a sister of my grandmother - Dinah ( Dyna, Dana, names found on census) Moss. She was born in 1883, Ohio, parents William Moss and Catherine ( Kate) Jones. 1885 she was living with her parents, 1900 she was living with her sister Sarah and family in Monroe Co.. Her sister left for Canada 1905-06 and I have been unable to locate Dinah. A 1905 census has Dyna at Cherokee, Iowa, listed with a number of other females. Was she in a boarding house - insane asylum - prison - nursing hospital ???? Would appreciate any suggestions on her whereabouts. Joyce in Canada | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
