I'm a Wilkie in the U.S. with at least 8 generations from North Carolina U.S.A. trying to make the connection between the U.S. and Scotland/Ireland/U.K. late 1600s-early 1700s. Anyone with firm connection data or Charles ancestry would be helpful.
