I am trying to locate more information about Thomas Ammons, b.1815, lived in Sumter County, SC and died 26 Jan 1862 of pneumonia while serving in the 9th Regiment of SC Infantry. I believe he died at Manassas Junction, VA. He was married to Millie Partin Ammons and had sons Henry and Benjamin.
