I am searching for information on my great-great grandmother and her family. I am not sure of her legal name but she was married to James Hinson b 4-1859 d. 12-2-1917.He was born and died in Amite County Mississippi. Most family members called her Maw Katy, so I am assuming Katy was her name. However, all records point to her name as being Mary. She was born around 1868 in Louisiana.
