Hi my name is Sylvia Galindo-Salas. I am the daughter of Pilar A. Galindo born in Ft. Stockton, Texas on 11/02/1918 his wife (my mother) is Juana Ruiz Galindo born on 06/24/1937. Pilar had two previous wives one of my fathers ex-wife’s names is Elena. Pilar while married to his 2nd wife had 7 children by the names of Robert Galindo, Leo Galindo, Irene Galindo, Carolina Galindo and don’t recall the rest of their names. Pilar while married to my mother they had 7 daughters, Maria Galindo born on May 8th, Maria Luisa Galindo born on July 15th, Guadalupe Galindo born on June 12, 1962, Rosa Linda Galindo born on December 27th, Manuela Galindo born on January 16, 1965, Sylvia Galindo born on May 8, 1966 and Maria De Lourdes Galindo born on October 9, 1969. My father (Pilar) had 5 brothers and two sisters (1) German Galindo born on 05/02/1922 and died on 01/17/1993 in El Paso, Texas. German’s wife’s name was Dominga Reyes Galindo born on 08/08/1920 and died on 11/08/1994 they had four sons named Nohe (Gilbert) Galindo, Cesar Galindo, Juan Antonio Galindo, Tiofilo Galindo and George Galindo. (2) Juan Galindo was born on 08/12/1920 and died on 01/23/1987 in El Paso, Texas and his 2nd wife’s name was Agapita I don’t think they had any children. But with Juan’s 1st wife they had a daughter named Jessica Galindo and a son named Juan Galindo. (3) Guillermo Galindo was the oldest of all the brothers whom was born in either 1913 or 1914. Guillermo’s 2nd wife’s name was Martha or Marta. Guillermo had several children with his first wife names Jose Galindo, Paula Galindo, Lucia Galindo and don’t recall the others. But Guillermo’s 2nd marriage to Martha they had Rosa Galindo and Blanca Galindo, (4) Jesus Galindo he passed at a very, very young age in a car accident in the late 60’s or early 70’s and he had a son named Hector Galindo a daughter whom I don’t recall her name. (5) Donacio or Donaciano Galindo lived in Lamont, Bakersfield and/or Kern County, California he was married to Maria. They had several children and one of them his name is Don or Donaciano Galindo I think he was the oldest of all I can’t remember the names of the others. (6) Carmen Galindo had son’s named Oscar Velez, Nicolas, and daughters Guadalupe Velez, Patricia Velez and Sylvia Velez. (7) Serapia Galindo, was married to 1st husband Ramon Gomez and they had daughters Manuela Gomez, Margarita Gomez, Gloria Gomez, Virginia Gomez and a son Ramon Gomez. Serapia divorced and with her 2nd husband to Raul Hernandez, Serapia had a daughter Cynthia Hernandez. My grandparents names were: Teofilo Galindo and Manuela Aguilar. If you happen to be related and/or if you know where my grandparents are buried that would be greatly appreciated to pass that information along. I have a picture of my grandparents (Teofilo and Manuela) and am willing to share if your related. If you have family pictures please share for I wish to pass this on to my children. I am also interested in having a Galindo Family Reunion but am looking for all related.
