PETER TEEL...Peter Teel was born 17 Jan 1791 in Franklin County, Virginia and died 13 Jan 1875 in Orange County, California. Along the way he married Sarah Brooks in 1822 in Tennessee, probably Jackson County. They settle for a while in Denton County, Texas (just north of Dallas). Peter was my 3rd Great Grandfather. In 1880 Sarah was listed on the census in Los Nietos Township, Los Angeles Co., California, United States as was her son Elijah Alexander Teel.
