My grandfather, Joseph Morris(b. 1877, Bayboro, Pamlico Co., NC) gave me the names of his parents(Joseph A. Morris, b. 1846 in NC and Sarah Ann Riggs Morris, b. 1853 in NC) and those of his grandparents (Samuel Morris and Marian Morris and Jessie L. Riggs and Patsy Jones Riggs). At the time that my great and great-great grandparenets were born, Craven County included what is now Pamlico County. My grandfather's siblings were Abbott, John, Daisy, Mabel, Jesse, Charles, Sam, McKinley, and William. Two other daughters died in childhood. Does anyone know anything about this family?
