Would like to know if anyone has info on williams family of macon, co, nc. Thomas Williams, born around 1760 and served in Rev. War, Pinckney Vols., SC and is buried at Holly Springs(old Jennings)cemetery near Franklin, NC. Thomas Jefferson Williams, born 1809 in Bumcombe, NC. TJW was married to a Mary"Polly" Williams, in 1875 they lived in the Mtn. Grove area near Ellijay. I think Polly's maiden name was Hasket. Also info about a Jane Fox that appears to be a stepmother. Polly must have died because in 1882 TJW maried Malinda"Lenie"Browning who was born in 1845.
