Looking for birth parents...I was born 5-26-1969 in Evansville IN. My name at birth was Candy Leigh Martin. I was adopted in Saline County Illinois. I believe my birth parents names were possibly William and Aster. However, nothing turns up on searches other than thousands of possible William Martins. My birth father was pretty tall and dark haired and darker complected, my birth mother was short with red or strawberry blond hair. They had 2 other children I believe 1 older and 1 younger than myself. I was taken from my birth parents home by social services and put in the hospital due to malnutrition I think. I was adopeted by a pastor and his wife in Galatia Illinois, I believe the adoption was finalized in 70 or 71. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
