I am looking for any information on the family of Thomas David DABBS, born abt. 1857 & died in 1927 probably in Statesboro, GA. He may have been married to an Amanda in Sumter, SC. I know that he was married to someone named Lilly in Hagan, or Statesboro, Georgia, and they had a daughter named Susie May before Lilly died. Lilly is buried at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Statesboro, Georgia. He also adopted a son named Andrew that took the name DABBS, and Andrew had a sister that lived in Statesboro names Jessie Calee. Thomas DABBS then married my grandmother, Jessie Bell GURGANIOUS DABBS, and they had three children, Alberta DABBS, Sylvester DABBS and my mother, Elizabeth DABBS. My mother passed away several months ago with Alzheimer's Disease and I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can give me. Her dad died when she was only 7 years old. Thanks, Sarah W. Crook P. O.
