I was born in Lapeer Hospital AUgust 7, 1957 by caeserean section. I was adopted at 7days old. My first birth certificate said Carpenter baby girl. My adopted mother thought that my birth mom worked at the Lapeer Home. (for mentally impaired people) I had a obituary for a Leah Carpenter several years ago. I did make some calls to people listed and visited the library in Lapeer. I resemble several Carpenter girls. I do not believe that Leah was my mother, but maybe someone in her family. I have had joint issues that have been diagnosed as genetic related. I have dark hair and brown eyes with freckles.
