I'm researching the Thompson family in Missouri. During the orphan train travels from New York to Missouri, A train stopped in Eldorado Springs Missouri but I don't know the year. A Doctor Thompson, a pharmacist of Eldorado Springs Missouri, adopted three children who were siblings. He apparently didn't want to separate them so he adopted all three. I think there were two boys and one girl. He gave them his surname. One of the boys later married and had children. One of them was William Benjamin Thompson m: to Faye Blackmore/Blackmer. They had a son named Lawrence Roy Thompson. He was b: in Bristow,Creek co. Okla about 1943/44. Lawrence Thompson is the father of my son-inlaw Robert Benjamin Thompson. I would like to find out what Doctor Thompson's full name was and if the three children he adopted knew their real surnames. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
