Jay Theron Whatley (1915-1979) of Andalusia married Lessie Myrl Biggs (1914-1992) in 1935 in Covington. I am looking for Jay Pearson Whatley's (1892-1973) and his wife Cora Ann Bence (1895-1973) families and Herbert Biggs first wife Lela Jowers. All died in Andalusia. I know I have seen different spellings for Herbert, such as Hurbert, Hubbard, etc. Lela Jowers was the mother of 2 with Herbert-- Lessie Myrl & Clifton. The only thing that I know about Lela Jowers is that she died soon after Lessie was born. Can anyone in the communtiy shed some light?
