I am searching for my birthmother Sarah Grace Hancock born on March, 5, 1936. This adoption was set up by her OB/Gyn Dr. Jenkins. The attorney on file was A.A. Archie Alexander. The adoption was finalized in February, 1959 in Galveston, TX. There is no birthfather listed in any of the unsealed court records I've received. I was born on November 12, 1958 in Sherman, TX Grayson County. I think I have four half sisters. Their names at birth were Sarah Jo Hancock, Maxine Arnella Chapman, Shirley Grace Price and Rebecca Jo Price. All four of these girls were born in Galveston, TX. I am looking for any information in hopes of reuninting with my birth family. UPDATE: On July 16th, 2007 I found out that Sarah Grace Hancock Price was killed in a car accident. On August 5th I talked to my half sister Shirley for the first time. Yes, I DO have four sisters and a whole host of other relatives. We are planning a reunion soon! :) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
