I am looking for any information on the Conleys or Riddle(s) in Carroll Co. Ar in the 1800s. My gggrandfather was Jesse Conley and my gggrandmother was Arminda (Minday) Riddle. I found Jesse living in Prarie township in the 1880 census but his wife is listed as Nancy R. but there were 2 Riddles living with them. All the children are correctly listed for Jess and Arminda, also. Nancy (Arminda?) and the 2 Riddle boys list their mother as being born in MO and there father's birthplace is blank. Makes me think they are sister and brothers. I do not know other relatives but think Jesse's father is Joseph Conley, mother Nancy Carter. Jesse and Minday ended up in Indian Territory near Vian where they are buried. Any help would be appreciated and I will share my other info. Thanks, Debbie Bryan | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
