Miranda Taylor, birth daughter given to adoption, October, 1981. Mother's name: Shyrill Taylor. I don't know where Sherry is today. Miranda has siblings, a brother and sister born 1995 & 1998. I have this message for Miranda if she ever finds this site. I'm sure you have questions. I wish I could say something profound, or important . . . something that would click and make sense to you. But there is nothing I could say that would be enough. The fact of the matter is that your birth mom and I were self centered and immature. We acted like there would be zero consequences for our actions when in truth, there were enormous consequences -- life altering outcomes -- indeed, the ultimate significance; the creation of your life. We were both scared and from our fear, we didn't know what to do, but we knew that we wanted you to have your life (I hope you're making it a good one), we just couldn't raise you. In hind site, this was the right decision. You would have not been raised well by me when I was younger. I would have failed you as your dad. If you're a parent today, you'll understand how hard it is to admit such a thing. Please forgive us of the pain this has caused you. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
