I am looking for family members of Aubry Bowman (of West Virginia), born in the early 1900's. I believe he has passed away. He is my dad's father. My father (born in West Virginia) was adopted by his mother's husband. My dad (who has passed away) was forced to change his name from Bobby Lee Bowman to Richard Lee Clay around his 17th birthday. I have seen my father's birth certificate and it has Aubry Bowman listed and signed as my father's father. My dad's mother's last name was Fitzwater. My dad lived in Petis (sp?) WV. I can give more info but I need info from you (the reader) so I know we know the same people.
