I am looking for a female who must have been born in 1959- or the early 1960's to a Dorothy Gail Smith(maiden) or Rayford or Gabel last names. My mother past away with out telling me ,but I found a picture of her holding a stuffed elephant. On the back of the picture was written in my mothers hand (Victoria Gabel).MY mothers sister admited to me that my mother had give up a daugher for adoption.My mother was married to a man named Jerry Rayford and then to my father Leon Gabel. I suspect the adoption took place in Texas near Lubbock, Texas. Also my mother often visited a comvent outside of Lubbock Texas, near slaton texas.
