coy of will of Matthew Smith 19 sep 1783. His father was Arthur Smith . Need date of Matthew and arthur Smith death if available. Trying to verify that this Arthur Smith's fater was Virgus (Vygas) Smith possibly the same name in Isle of Wight County as early as 1719. Virgus (Vygas) may have moved to Southampton Co. or the land he owned may have later become a part of Southampton at a later date. Any information will be most helpful.
