hello: Looking for any Wooten's of vir/Ga/NC/AL. My ggrandfather was Robert Wooten spelled with two t's on the 1900 census of Ga. Robert was born in 1823 in Va as a free black. He lived and worked as a laborer on the James Parker farm. Robert at some point and time migrated to Ga, and the route he took is not known. Robert married Martha Perry in 1875 in an unknown co.in Ga. On the 1900 census Floyd co. Ga Robert shows up with Martha with 8 of 11 out of 14 children. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
