I am NOT seeking search assistance. I am simply posting for an adoptee who has opted for no contact at this time. I am Sherry Taylor, a BirthSibling awaiting contact from an Adoptee whose name is now RONALD BARRY FULLER. He was born at DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk, VA on April 25, 1963 as Ernest Ray Miller, Jr. He was +/- 7 months old at the time of his adoption. The Norfolk Dept. of Social Services was responsible for the adoption, which was finalized in the same city, in 1965 I believe. His Adoption Case # is 35526, and his records can be found at the Dept. of Social Services' Adoption Unit in Richmond, VA. His Adoptive Parents are Franklin Barry Fuller (deceased) and Maxine A. Fuller (now Johnson). He has two siblings with his Adoptive family; they are Shirley Marie Fuller-Garrison and Dennis Wayne Fuller. Dennis is the birth son of Franklin and Maxine Fuller. Shirley is an adopted daughter, who was also born and adopted in Norfolk, VA. Shirley's name at birth was Sarah Lynn Craft or Croft. Our Birth Mother is Sheila Frances Nottingham (maiden and current name). She was born in Norfolk on July 22, 1946 as Sheila Frances Womack (she is also adopted; Nottingham is her adoptive name). She currently resides in Chesapeake, Virginia. Your maternal Birth Siblings are: Judy Lynn Taylor-Dechant, born 7/23/1970, raised in foster care and currently residing in Oliver Springs, Tennessee; me, Sherry Lee Taylor, born 10/20/1971, raised in foster care and currently residing in Suffolk, Virginia; Charles Leslie Taylor, adopted as Charles Leslie Stanfield, born 11/2/1974, however he was shot and killed in Isle of Wight County (VA) by a classmate on March 23, 1990; Amy Frances Taylor, born 10/4/1975, died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome on December 28, 1975; Timothy Martin Taylor, born ?/?/1976, died within a few minutes of his premature birth; Kenneth Adam Myers, adopted as Kenneth Adam Hubble, twin A, born 6/13/1978, relocating from New Mexico back to Virginia soon; Kevin James Myers, adopted as Kevin James Hubble, twin B, born 6/13/1978, currently residing in Chesapeake, Virginia; Thomas Allen Myers, adopted as Thomas Wayne Gwynn, born 4/20/1981, currently residing in Chesapeake, Virginia. Your Birth Father is Ernest Ray Miller, Sr., and he lives somewhere in the mid-west. He has several other children, though I don't know their names without further research. I spoke to your mom (Maxine) a few years ago and she said you preferred no contact at the time. We are in no way trying to pressure you.
