In search of birthmother, birthfather, birth or half sibings. I was born 8/3/1962 in Indianapolis, IN My bmom's name is Marilyn Dawn Spears. She was married and had three small boys at the time of my conception, adoption. She was married to a man in the service...probably at Fort Benjamin Harrison. Stationed there during 1961-1962 and maybe longer. He was overseas when an affair happened. I was given up for adoption before he returned to stateside. I grew up in Martinsville, IN with the last name of Yocum. I was almost adopted by a family named Quakenbush, but due to questionable circumstances, I was not. They, however, meet my birth mom and described her as 5'4" and very slender. She had sent her oldest son to her mother's home at the last of the pregnancy to avoid him noticing a bulging belly. I was told that she originated in Wisconsin or Minnesota. The only news that could be true is that Nevada shows a Marilyn D. Spears marrying a Stevans M. Williams 11/20/71. This may or may not be her. My Indianapolis Vital Records Certificate number is 62-264491 issued on June 21, 1963 Dr. William Winter was our next door neighbor and arranged for my adoption. It is a closed adoption and a social worker was used. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
