I am searching for the birth record of my grandmother, Riley Victoria Rogers, who was born on May 18, 1901. Her parents, Ezekiel Rogers and Letitia Isabelle Ellingsworth or Earlywine, had run away together to Arkansas in September of 1899 and appeared to have had a baby girl in May of 1900, according to the 1900 census for Arkansas, Newton Cty. This baby died, evidently, because my grandmother didn't know about her. We have no record of my grandmother's birth because Arkansas and Missouri do not have birth records in 1901. Has anyone at all seen evidence of her birth? I have a travel log that belonged to my great grandmother that states they left Benton Cty, Ark on May 13, 1901 and then moved to Alabam Ark on May 22.
