I am looking for information about the family of my gr-grandfather, Joseph Anton Beckert. He was born in Schlierstadt, Baden on 20 Sept 1832. His father was Joseph Alois Beckert, a farmer, and his godfather was Anton Baltenberger, also a farmer. I obtained this information from a birth certificate that he obtained at the time of his naturalization as a citizen of the USA (1858). I would like to find the name of his mother and if he had any siblings. I also do not know the date that he emigrated. Any help would be appreciated.
